Just when you thought you'd seen the last of the corrupt, Chicago politician, laundering and lying strike again! Today it was discovered that the GOVERNOR of Illinois, Rod Blagojevic, was trying to SELL Barack Obama's senate seat. WHAT?! On God's green Earth...
Now, this seems to be a classic case of "What was he thinking?" Did he think he wouldn't get caught? Did he think no one would notice? That no one would leak? Did he think if he appointed himself to the position that no one would find it suspicious? (Slaps forehead).
Oh, and to add insult to perjury, he is back at work Wednesday (sans passport)...
Funny enough, this happens in Hollywood, and no one bats an eyelash. Actually they get a comeback tour or a book deal. Hmm...
